Thornton Dial: The Earliest Years, 1987–1989
- Thornton Dial
Thornton Dial, The Earliest Years: 1987–1989 is the first solo exhibition of the artist’s work on the West Coast, and the first to focus on this formative period. This moment marks the beginning of the impossibly inventive first stage of Dial’s career as an artist, a period characterized by rapid innovation, material exploration, and self-discovery.
Blockers, Spacers and Scribble Drawings, 2020
- Nancy Shaver
In her first solo exhibition at the gallery, Nancy Shaver's exhibition features an aquarium-like installation spanning multiple walls teeming with a rhythmic floor-to-ceiling arrangement of Blockers and Spacers which combine painted paper and fabric, together with a new body of Scribble Drawings begun in 2020.
