Wade Guyton: The Undoing features a group of paintings made from March 2020 to the present. Images include canvases lying on the floor of the artist’s Bowery studio, news from the New York Times website, his recent retrospective at the Museum Ludwig, layered bitmaps, and the artist’s temperature. A new painting format is introduced.

Wade Guyton (b. 1972) has had one-person exhibitions at institutions across Europe and the United States, including the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, the Serpentine Gallery in London, the Kunsthalle Zürich, and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
